What You Will Accomplish Here…

The Document Specialist I is responsible for reviewing Engineering test files for regulatory compliance, compiling certification documents, proofreading, and conducting related research.

 

This position will effectively support the QA team by focusing on the following:

  • Maintains an understanding of the certification compilation and research process, including methods for obtaining required information
  • Review’s engineering documentation and verifies required notations
  • Obtains and reviews engineering documentation via relevant systems
  • Maintains a knowledge of specific requirements for each submission and jurisdiction
  • Troubleshoots various issues by utilizing manufacturer documentation and researching previous submissions, as necessary
  • Utilizes a file tracking system (Protrack) and other systems to process QA issue reports
  • Uses the report template to generate a draft certification
  • Finalizes certifications by making changes, merging, printing, stapling and sorting
  • Provides status updates on assignments for the weekly departmental reports 

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Preferable MBO +/HBO thinking level
  • Fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of the English language, verbal and written
  • Structured way of working
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Stress resistance and able to work with deadlines
  • Being a team player with good communication skills
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Word
