The Breakdown: 

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer (Email Studio), you will be an important member of our Global Consumer-facing Technology team. You will be the technical expert on the SFMC platform and you will partner with the Product Owner and Retention Marketing team to determine how we can best leverage it to meet our Business and Brand objectives. You will work closely with other Technical counterparts to ensure that SFMC is effectively integrated with our Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud architecture.

What You Get to Do:  

 

  • Build personalized, responsive, and dynamic email templates
  • Build automations, triggered sends, and manual sends across several regions and languages
  • Build customer journeys of varying levels of complexity and with unique inputs and outputs
  • Leverage Einstein to both optimize delivery as well as present personalized product recommendations
  • Own data quality and governance within the SFMC platform
  • Build dynamic and static, complex and simple data extensions that ensure the right message is delivered to the right people
  • Work closely with counterparts on the SFCC and SFSC teams to ensure that integrations into and out of SFMC are optimized
  • Be THE in-house technical go-to for our all things SFMC
  • Monitor, analyze, and make recommendations based on performance KPIs


What You'll Bring to The Team:

 

Required:

 

  • 3-5 years hands-on SFMC Email Studio experience
  • High-level of confidence, ability, and proven experience using Journey Builder to build complex customer journeys that leverage various inputs, triggers, splits, etc.
  • Experience conceptualizing and executing marketing automations
  • Proficiency with SFMC APIs, AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and collaboration skills
  • Expert understanding of email and SMS best practices, KPI tracking, deliverability tracking and optimization

 

Preferred:

 

  • Experience building custom reports in SFMC
  • Experience with other SFMC products including Ad Studio, Mobile Studio, Social, Studio, Personalization (formerly Interaction Studio)
  • Experience/familiarity with Salesforce CRM/Core
  • Experience/familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud

  

How Your Success Will Be Measured:

 

  • Exhibit platform proficiency through the quick and efficient execution of Email Marketing initiatives of varying degrees of complexity
  • Evaluate and improve Email deliverability, open rate, click rate, CVR as opportunities present

 

Travel: 

 

  • This position does not require any travel.

 

Work/Physical Environment:

 

  • This is an office position. Extended periods of sitting/standing at a computer/workstation expected.
  • This role is based out of our Burlington, Denver or Montreal Hubs and follows a hybrid work model, with three days in the office each week. We are committed to providing relocation assistance for any successful candidate.
