Position: TPM Engineer

                    

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León

 

Reports to: Edmundo Delgado

 

Summary:

 

  • This position leads the strategy for improving the uptime based on root cause analysis using CMMS data, implements the necessary changes to assure the problems are eliminated following lean principles.
  • Responsible for coordinating the implementation of CMMS phases.
  • Leads the preventive and corrective maintenance planning including spare parts, labor calculation, visualization of work orders and communication with the necessary departments.

 

Major duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for leading the team for preventive and corrective maintenance strategies and scheduling.
  • Responsible for optimizing maintenance human resources in order to maximize the factory efficiency through the preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling.
  • Responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of preventive and corrective

maintenance, including communication with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Planning and Logistics.

  • Lead the tools availability and necessary spare parts for the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. Supports inventory control, purchasing and receiving of all parts.
  • Responsible for leading the maintenance team for the administrative activities to ensure CMMS system complies with Global requirements and reporting:
  • Responsible for assuring the daily processing of maintenance work orders using FIIX, including generating, closing and filling jobs.
  • Responsible for assuring the facilitating work order review meeting happens.
  • Responsible for assuring the Tracking and reporting of downtime due to failures (RedZone) generate RCA when in-depth analysis is required
  • Assure the team Maintain electronic records and paper files which includes, preforming quality checks of records and files to be processed, performing CMMS system updates, and collaborating with customers as needed for clarification and guidance.
  • Responsible to lead the executing and finalization of all phases of the Fiix implementation, including the spare parts warehouse.
  • Ensure the team builds and publishes reports for data analysis using CMMS system, utilizing data to make recommendations on improvements.
  • Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices and Audit requirements are incorporated into the maintenance activities.
  • Primary contact for Global and Regional CMMS related requests, updates, status and guidance
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
  • Work based on GPS, TPM and Lean manufacturing systems.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

 

  • Mechanical, Electrical o related Engineering.
  • Proven experience of minimum 3 years organizing maintenance activities, leading software utilization such as Fiix, Proteus, SAP or related.
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing desirable
  • Hands-on mindset with floor experience; flexibility to work in small team environments, wearing multiple hats; solutions oriented, with preference for the practical side of business.
  • CAD expertise is not required, but an asset.
  • Automation experience desirable.
  • Proveen experience of minimum 3 years in the maintenance department with knowledge of electricity, mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
