How You’ll Make a Difference

You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with large and global organizations to identify, develop, and deliver joint-research collaborations focused on critical areas and topics at PMI thought leadership.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Barchelor’s Degree (minimum) in Business or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with an emphasis on business development and B2B relationship
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering joint-research projects.
  • Experience in working with large and global organizations is highly desirable.
  • Domain knowledge and experience in project management, program management, portfolio management, business transformation, emerging technologies and related fields.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment, such as a global professional services or consulting firm.
  • Experience in project management, including maintaining timelines and providing updates to stakeholders, partners, and collaborators as needed while simultaneously managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities. 
  • Experience of working and leading in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment.
  • High proficiency in the business language for PMI (English).
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends, with the ability to identify emerging topics and areas of interest for thought leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with partners.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly synthesize complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving, be able to adapt and adjust based on stakeholders’ feedback and inputs.
  • Strong writing and communication skills to be able to communicate and explain complex concepts to different stakeholders and audiences in ways that are thought-provoking yet accessible.
  • Critical thinking, ability to question assumptions, evaluate arguments, and consider alternative perspectives.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional and international teams, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and engaging with leadership. 
  • Able to manage outside contributors and vendors, including freelancers and agencies.
  • Ability to learn about new topics and concepts quickly.
  • High proficiency in handling and analyze data in Excel required
  • High proficiency in structure and visualize data in PowerPoint required
  • Experience with statistical tools and software is a plus (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R)
