How You’ll Make a Difference

An acquisition focused role responsible for representing PMI and being PMI’s “eyes and ears on the ground” in a key market, ensuring the engagement and activation of the German PM community across mainly new stakeholders while closely collaborating with internal resources owning key stakeholder relationships and stakeholder programs (i.e., Country strategy lead, ATP lead, PSM, Chapter Engagement Specialist, Academia Lead, Partnership Lead, Comms/Marketing etc.).

A travel intense role, looking to represent PMI at multiple in-market opportunities, identifying new business and collaboration opportunities while maximizing internal and chapter resource use for outreach (i.e., SME/SLT/BOD speakers, Thought leadership, research) and further relationship building (i.e., PSM, Academic Lead etc.).

A role intended to be a solid link and support to the PMI Germany Chapter e.V. for their defined responsibilities in delivering PMI: Next

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • PM/PMI credentials are preferred. Established credibility in the key market is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong pro-activeness in initiating activities and communicating across stakeholders.
  • Customer-facing experience, with a particular focus on problem solving and resolution of customer issues.
  • Demonstrated success with a consultative sales style to help as well as influence stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in problem solving. Output focus, being able to develop solutions while brining stakeholder along and drive change.
  • Positive track record of business results and proven ability to develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders and generate organization growth.
  • Demonstrated ability working with customers, volunteer leaders and external organizations from diverse cultures and backgrounds with a track record of positive relationships with material outcomes.
  • Demonstrated strength with digital technologies, including knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products and CRM.
  • Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive change.
  • Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English) and German for country focus
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a focus on driving community growth and engagement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with diverse community members.
