Aline is seeking a driven Billing Operations Accountant to join our team and support our day-to-day Order to Cash operations. This is a new role as our team and business continue to grow and responsibilities are expected to evolve and expand over time.

The new Billing Operations Accountant role will play a vital part in establishing efficient processes that impact our entire organization. You will participate in our monthly customer invoicing processes across all our business lines, collaborate with various teams to initiate and respond to various questions and requests regarding monthly invoices, and work to identify and resolve billing and payment issues as they arise.

The Billing Operations Accountant must also have great attention to detail and a professional presence when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Manage daily billing operations and their impact on the Order to Cash.  You will respond to questions on invoicing from internal and external parties including questions on current billing, changes to products and pricing, and reviewing and validating billing matches contracts

  • Actively manage the billing process and accounts receivable to ensure account accuracy and decrease Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Participate in monthly invoicing across all lines of business.
  • Initiate and respond to customer inquiries and cross-collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product.
  • Work to identify and resolve billing issues as they arise.
  • Follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Provide support for our year-end audit, tax compliance, and the annual budget process.
  • Complete special requests and ad-hoc projects, as needed.



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field is required.
  • Entry level (relevant experience is a plus).
  • A strong work ethic and desire to continually grow and develop professionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to proactively and independently identify and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, meet goals, and perform in a fast and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and similar products.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP.
  • Familiarity with Chargify, Maxio is a plus.

This position requires full-time, in-office attendance for the first 3-6 months for training and onboarding. After this period, there will be an opportunity to discuss flexible work arrangements and scheduling based on performance and business needs.
