**This is a Manager level Learning and Development role within our HR team. No direct reports. 

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Principal, Talent Development Partner will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training and development programs at AtriCure; to improve individual, team, and organizational performance.  This role will facilitate training and development sessions, work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to assess development needs, create impactful development programs and ensure employees have the resources they need to grow and thrive. This position will contribute to the overall success of the Talent Development and Performance COE. This role focuses on enhancing employee skills, driving leadership development, and promoting a culture of continuous learning. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Design, develop and facilitate learning solutions, including learning labs, workshops, e-learning modules, and other development programs, including management and leadership development programs
  • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, understanding their needs and aligning talent development initiatives with business objectives
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and opportunities for development within teams and across the organization
  • Measure the effectiveness of training and development programs through evaluations, metrics and feedback, making data-driven decisions for future enhancements and strategies
  • Manage and continuously improve existing learning and development programs, ensuring they meet the needs of a dynamic workforce
  • Research and recommend subject matter experts and external strategic partners/vendors to create and enhance leadership development opportunities
  • Prepare and present reports to leadership on talent development initiatives, progress and ROI
  • Partner with DEI COE to co-design diversity and inclusion initiatives that support an inclusive work environment
  • Lead organizational change initiatives by developing and delivering training and communication plans that facilitate smooth transitions
  • Work with leaders to communicate the importance of talent development and create buy-in for new programs and initiatives
  • Act as a change agent, promoting continuous improvement and innovation in talent development practices
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth throughout the organization
  • Assist in the performance review process by partnering with HRBPs and managers to support the performance management process
  • Support the implementation of tools and frameworks that promote continuous feedback and development within teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Minimum of seven years of learning and development or related experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong live facilitation, public speaking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and deliver against deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with virtual meeting functions
  • Ability to travel 10-15%

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Learning Management System experience
  • Articulate 360 authoring experience

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, stand, bend, push, and pull as needed
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
