The Breakdown:
Starting in November we are currently looking for a seasonal Test Ride Assistant in Sweden until April for about 20h/week. The Test Ride Assistant is responsible for representing Burton and Anon brands and driving focused demand and consumer engagement in the area. She/he is mainly responsible for executing product demo opportunities, conducting shop visits and otherwise activating the brand on-snow. As the local brand ambassador towards consumers and local business partners the Test Ride Assistant strives to exemplify Burton’s values, and amplifying the power of snowboarding to build a healthy planet where all people can thrive.
What You Get to Do:
- Inbound and outbound logistics for consumer experiences: test rides, demo and Riglet
- Organizing and shipping requested products to stakeholders: retail partners, team riders, territory colleague, and HQ
- Demo fleet maintenance, waxing and tuning in-house or handling transportation for external tuning
- Supporting inventory management: product fleet and event collateral
- Support during mid-season and year-end inventory
- Occasional on-snow event execution support
- Assisting with other hands-on tasks
- Representing the company and brands in a professional manner with positive attitude towards accounts, and the consumer.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in consumer experience, ideally product focused for a recognized brand in the outdoor industry
- Strong knowledge of the snowboard industry and Burton target audience
- Strong technical product knowledge
- Hands-on mentality with a proactive work attitude
- Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity
- Creative, open-minded, and agile team player
- Fluency in Swedish and strong English fluency is required.
- The role requires travel and a valid driver’s license
