Site Program Director - Semi Conductor (located in Austin, TX)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Program Director to lead a tool hook up and maintenance team in a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale fabrication projects, specifically in the semiconductor industry, and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the semiconductor facility maintenance project
• Manage a variety of craft and professional employees including orbital welders, quality personnel, safety managers, and more.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies
• Understanding of unit rate commercial structure (bidding/creation of, and management/execution under this structure)
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, government authorities, and suppliers, to ensure alignment and compliance with industry standards
• Monitor progress and adjust as needed to ensure the successful management of the maintenance contract
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the construction process
• Manage and resolve any arising issues or conflicts within the project team.
• Report regularly on status, budget, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders
• Have a deep understanding of the various aspects of semiconductors facilities such as a - Fab building, sub fab, clean room construction, PSSS, HPM, sequence of engineering and construction of all the stated aspects of a semiconductor facility

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in semiconductor facility construction
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish
• Experienced in semiconductor / clean room tool installation, maintenance, and tool change out, and/or equivalent experience in a food grade-facility
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and budgeting
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and quality standards
• Knowledge of and experience with orbital welding
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
