Coordinate Outside Processing Requests, follows orders to create systematic outside processing schedules, communicate with vendors for delivery dates on planned shipments.  Track orders, align inventory and provide updates for customer critical items.  

 

Responsible for generating Outside Processing Requests and tracking to receipt as part of overall production plan.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Create Outside Processing Requests (OPR)
  • Maintain and control OPRs through receipt
  • Analyze order flow using WIP report and travelers
  • Communicate with vendors for delivery dates and planned shipments
  • Ensure materials are in place to meet production schedules
  • Daily communication with Planning, Customer Solutions, Production, Procurement and Quality for OPR status and future planned OPRs
  • Create, maintain, and distribute KPIs to monitor schedule adherence, variance to plan, vendor capacity gaps, and lead times
  • Daily communication with Planners and Production to ensure work-centers are loaded with optimal demand and mix
  • Provide updates on critical customer orders

  • Minimum 3 years of experience within manufacturing
  • ERP knowledge & experience
  • Computer knowledge (Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Proficient in consolidating and organizing data in Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to lead and coordinate small groups, as well as been able to multitask
  • Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Problem solving and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and high degree of accuracy, ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations, possess strong problem-solving skills
