Fleet Manager (Onsite/Remote/Hybrid)

The Fleet Manager will be responsible for purchasing and maintaining company vehicles to support customer and branch needs while striving to reduce costs and maximize profits. 

This role offers flexibility with the option to work either onsite, in a hybrid arrangement or fully remote.

Essential Functions

• Partner with local branches to evaluate current and long term fleet needs
  •    Review and approve maintenance requests on all vehicles in a timely manner
  •    Fulfill all purchase requests in a cost effective manner
  •    Research and provide recommendations to management for new vehicles
  •    Manage vehicle licensure and registration 
  •    Manage fleet fuel card and GPS programs
  •    Ensure all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date training
  •    Monitor drivers to ensure adherence to proper driving practices 
  •    Ensure associates are adhering to all fleet and DOT policies/rules
  •    Provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress 
  •    Develop methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency 
  •    Stay up to date on transportation laws and regulations to ensure compliance in transportation of goods 
  •    Other relative duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
•    Associate’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience 
•    Current and valid US driver’s license 
•    At least 5 years of experience in similar position

•    Ability to operate effectively in a team-based environment

Work Environment  
This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require driving to project sites.
