Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in SQL, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Laravel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and familiarity with SAGE ERP systems. Additional desired skills include experience with analytics, AI (Artificial Intelligence), BI (Business Intelligence), and HR software such as Ceridian. Familiarity with the Hospitality industry is considered a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using SQL, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Laravel, and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement efficient and secure database solutions to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Customize and integrate SAGE ERP solutions to meet specific business needs, particularly in the context of financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement analytics solutions to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Utilize AI and BI tools to enhance decision-making processes within applications.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers as required.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer or similar role, specializing in SQL, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Laravel, etc.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and hands-on experience with SAGE ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and techniques, AI, BI, and HR software such as Ceridian.
  • Knowledge of the Hospitality industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in relevant technologies or frameworks.
  • Previous experience in the Hospitality industry or related sectors.
