Sales Coordinator

 

Overview

Dorel Home Canada is seeking to hire an inside Sales Coordinator to assist the various business segments with the day to day operations while maintaining Dorel’s highly regarded professional reputation and enhancing its continual rapid growth.  This role is best suited for a high-energy candidate with initiative who can work both as a team member and independently as required. This individual will be responsible for adhering to all Sales Administrative needs

 

Responsibilities

  • New item setups
  • Develop & maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales reports.
  • Responsible for weekly sales reporting and analysis. Provides actionable insights from reports, such as low in-stocks and forecast variance.
  • Monitor daily/weekly in-stocks, determine root cause for in-stock issues, and provide store level recommendations to account managers.
  • Monitor service level, communicate issues, and back in-stock dates to account managers.
  • Help Account Managers develop comprehensive selling stories designed to maximize distribution, drive existing sales growth, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Create and maintain all item forecasts
  • Attend meetings and calls with Account Managers to ensure we are always on track, providing the support they need.
  • Set up and execution of all account documentation such as New Item Creation (NIC), cost change forms, maintenance of UPC, linking and cross referencing of items.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • College/University degree in business administration or other business related program
  • 3+ years in sales/marketing/administrative work
  • Problem Solver
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Web Marketing tools would be an asset
  • Has own vehicle
  • Intermediate level (or higher) MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Work with and create various sales reports as assigned
  • Strong interpersonal skills (ability to effectively deal with others – tact/diplomacy/courtesy)
  • Self-motivated and deadline driven, with effective time management abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to fulfill all physical aspects of job-related tasks (product storage, assembly, etc.)
  • Ability to efficiently work both independently, and as part of a cohesive team, in a high volume and demanding environment
  • Prints and actions various sales & marketing reports
  • Performs store price checks & maintains customer retail pricing templates
  • Assisting in the process of account set ups, printing of customer business reviews, preparing customer price quotations, etc.
  • Perform other administrative work as required

 

Status: 1 full-time remote position 

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:30AM to 5PM
