As an Implementation Consultant, you can contribute positively to the continual growth of ECI Software’s Manufacturing Division. Implementation Consultants are an integral part of our software solutions. With us, you’ll utilize your ERP application and interpersonal skills to help our existing and new customers develop the knowledge and confidence to use our products to conduct their day-to-day operations. You can have a direct and positive impact on the Return on Investment (ROI) customers receive from their ERP system.
As an Implementation Consultant you will work on a project team to configure our ERP applications, develop operating procedures and train customer implementation teams to meet specific business goals and customer needs. In this role, you’ll bring knowledge and experience with implementations or Support in a manufacturing area. You will work closely together with an international team of Technical Consultants, Project Managers, Sales professionals and Business Consultants
Key responsibilities
- Review current business processes and align with best practices and requirements to integrate them into a seamless ERP implementation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and challenges.
- Train customer implementation teams on core body of knowledge concepts and principles and on the operation of our ERP applications.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the implementation runs smoothly, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Travel to customer locations to deliver consulting service.
- Learn new product offering and functionality as software updates are available.
- Monitor and report status or implementations, maintaining clear communication with customer and project teams.
- Work independently with a high sense of urgency.
- Be accessible and available to multiple customers.
- Identify and manage potential issues and escalations in coordination with the Team Lead or Project Manager.
Key Skills
- Understand common industry business practices in manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ERP support or implementation role.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, delivers high-quality work, self-motivated and an internal desire to succeed.
- Exceptional problem solving skills and ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills targeted to effectively present information to all customer role levels.
- Fluent in both Norwegian and English.
