Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products.  We provide a wide range of taste and texture components for food industry customers throughout the world.  Our products include seasoning blends, dry mixes, coating systems, dough blends, crumbs, flavors, sauces and food bases that are used in an extensive variety of application from snack foods and processed meat and poultry to ready meals. Job Title:           Maintenance Coordinator

Reports To:       Maintenance Manager

Location:           Lithonia, GA 

Shift:                 1^st (Monday - Friday)

Summary: The primary goal of this role is to support the site by efficiently purchasing supplies and managing the maintenance parts inventory. This includes ensuring timely procurement of necessary supplies, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and streamlining the parts management process to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase materials required for the site operations (i.e. Production, Sanitation, Warehouse, etc.) and maintenance ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
• Manage and organize the maintenance parts inventory, tracking usage and reordering as needed.
• Work with the maintenance team to understand parts requirements and future needs.
• Implement inventory management best practices to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels and parts usage.
• Work with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Support maintenance activities by making they have the required parts and materials.
• Create reports and additional tasks, as directed including but not limited to training, work instruction development and/or updates, creating/maintaining One Point Lesson and/or Standard Work

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma and 7 years of industry experience that includes use of computer specifically MS Word and MS Excel as part of day-to-day job function. 
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suites including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must be able to create spreadsheets, word documents and presentations for plant management team, USLT, NALT, and Global teams.
• Analytical skills and the ability to apply those skills to assist with reducing cost variance.
• Must be detail orientated and able to manage multiple tasks, reports, and projects. 
• Ability to act as a back-up for Maintenance Planner, as needed.
• Knowledge of all systems associated with manufacturing.
• Position requires good interpersonal and communication skills.
