Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products.  We provide a wide range of taste and texture components for food industry customers throughout the world.  Our products include seasoning blends, dry mixes, coating systems, dough blends, crumbs, flavors, sauces and food bases that are used in an extensive variety of application from snack foods and processed meat and poultry to ready meals. Our customers include food processors, restaurant operators and grocery retailers.  While our name may not be familiar to consumers, our products are key components of foods offered by many of the world’s best-known companies.

Summary: Griffith Foods North America is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our executive team as the Head of Supply Chain, North America. This role is critical for driving excellence in manufacturing processes, supply chain efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to meet customer needs. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our manufacturing and supply chain strategy, embracing innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing operations and supply chain processes across North America, ensuring they align with the company’s global objectives.
• Oversee the North American supply chain operation, including planning and logistics, health & safety, food safety and quality systems, Lean/TPM, manufacturing engineering, and production to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in manufacturing and supply chain management via Lean/TPM, incorporating lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to minimize waste and maximize operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with the R&D, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure the seamless integration of new products into the manufacturing process and Supply Chain.
• Foster a culture of innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop individuals and high-performance teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Responsible for logistics, managing relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure high levels of service and collaboration.
• Oversee capital investments and projects related to manufacturing and supply chain infrastructure, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing and supply chain management within food or related industry.
• Manufacturing (plant operations) leadership experience. Specifically, plant management and multi-site experience.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, implementing lean manufacturing and supply chain optimization projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent leadership and team development skills, able to inspire and motivate across diverse teams.
• Good understanding of the food industry’s regulatory environment and quality standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel 30-40% as needed across North America and internationally.
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish a plus.
