Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products.  We provide a wide range of taste and texture components for food industry customers throughout the world.  Our products include seasoning blends, dry mixes, coating systems, dough blends, crumbs, flavors, sauces and food bases that are used in an extensive variety of application from snack foods and processed meat and poultry to ready meals. Our customers include food processors, restaurant operators and grocery retailers.  While our name may not be familiar to consumers, our products are key components of foods offered by many of the world’s best-known companies.

Summary:  The Global HR Business Partner will work as a strategic business partner to the global functional leaders of Griffith Foods including the global leaders for Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, IT, Business Development, Marketing, R&D, Purchasing, Sustainability, and Strategy. This role will partner with those leaders to support and enable growth and transformation through their teams across the world via collaborative relationships in each region. The successful candidate must have the passion, energy, and intellectual curiosity necessary for a fast-paced, growth-driven environment, be able to employ forward-thinking and be able to expeditiously execute global projects and programs.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

OD & Workforce Planning

  • Conducts workforce planning based on strategy and leverages data and analytics to identify priorities.
  • Assesses needs and draws connections across the business; identifies implications from talent, structure, and skills requirements.
  • Establishes clarity about critical roles and develops strategies to address retention risks and skill gaps, ensuring depth of bench strength for key roles.
  • Partner with local HR in each country to ensure compliance, regulatory, and legal responsibilities are followed.
  • Review all new hire/position change documentation and classification and ensure alignment of compensation levels with policies & practices and keep internal equity.

 

Change Management

  • Drive organizational change initiatives by developing and executing comprehensive change management plans.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders in managing change, including communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and resistance management.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to prepare employees for organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions.

 

Talent Management

  • Key partner in facilitating the development and execution of experience-based development plans for high potentials; ensures meaningful exposure to the organization.
  • Manages the talent review and succession planning process; provides expertise and guidance to the function’s business leadership.
  • Actively leads and participates in the talent acquisition of key functional positions.
  • Implements actions to create a highly engaged, high-performing, and inclusive work environment across the corporate functions.

 

Functional Expertise

  • Act as a coach and confidant to several global executive leaders.
  • Ensures strong HR capabilities are within the functions; leads in the selection, development, and evaluation of talent.
  • Provides strong oversight on daily or complex employee relations investigations and resolution of key issues.
  • Key advisor and coach to the function’s leadership on appropriate HR practices and policies; ensure implementation and compliance.
  • Identifies opportunities to simplify processes and enhance the value of HR to the business.

 

Requirements:

                

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes.
  • 8+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions required.
  • Experience working for a global company; direct experience working with global client groups; experience supporting clients in a matrix environment.
  • HR generalist work experience in a corporate setting.
  • Experience with recruiting and related processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic while possessing executive presence.
  • Proven ability to be hands-on, roll up sleeves and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results orientation with a learning mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and act as a change agent to the business and implement processes and approaches which prepare leaders for ongoing change and transformation.
  • Willingness to travel globally.
