Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products.  We provide a wide range of taste and texture components for food industry customers throughout the world.  Our products include seasoning blends, dry mixes, coating systems, dough blends, crumbs, flavors, sauces and food bases that are used in an extensive variety of application from snack foods and processed meat and poultry to ready meals. Our customers include food processors, restaurant operators and grocery retailers.  While our name may not be familiar to consumers, our products are key components of foods offered by many of the world’s best-known companies.

Position: Implementations Coordinator

 

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León

 

Reports to: Ricardo Soto

 

 

Summary:

 

  • Review and produce on a large scale, a new product that has already been approved by the customer, and that must comply with the characteristics approved in its design.

 

  • Ensuring that new products meet the expected quality characteristics during implementations, monitoring manufacturing processes to ensure successful implementation.

 

  • Review the new product technical feasibility for large scale production.

 

  • Under critical and exceptional situations ensure that procedures, new raw materials and equipment meets with the original standards design.

 

Major duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading, organize and assure new products implementation avoiding any potential internal quality rejects or customers complains. Documenting clearly every detail from new products production.
  • Responsible to coordinate technical meetings with all involved teams (R&D, Operations, Quality, Commercialization, etc.) to design and develop the best implementation practices before scaling up to assure the success of every new implementation avoiding scraps, loss or rejects.
  • Responsible for overseeing technical feasibility of every critical new project that involves new raw materials, packaging technology or new process, mentoring R&D team to validate the technical requirements for strategical projects.
  • Responsible for generating a database memory to build a robust worldclass implementation process.
  • Collaborate with quality, operations and procurement to identify the root cause of eventually quality raw materials issues that could affect several products.
  • Leverage on his technical skills mentoring supply chain to develop best practices to reduce any potential scraps for optimized process.
  • Responsible to provide assist Quality and Supply Chain team in critical shortage raw materials to maintain consistency of the products and keep business continuity.
  • Act as a liaison between R&D and Operations teams to ensure projects meet scheduling and quality requirements.
  • Mentoring R&D developers and support them to define batch size and sequence to design operation procedure before every new implementation.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Engineer with experience in food processing. Interaction between raw materials and equipment capabilities at least 8 years.
  • Knowledge of liquid and dry blends technologies.
  • Microsoft tools and systems like CRM, ERP.
  • English preferable.
  • Deep technical knowledge of dry base, liquid base, industrial equipment and interaction with raw materials.
  • Experience in Sustainability related areas - at least one year involved in land fill project or related sustainable projects.
  • Projects management training (green belt, raw materials and pack seminars, etc.).
  • This position requires regular travel between both facilities (MTY & ATQ).
