Senior Project Engineer - Alsip Facility

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing cost-effective technological solutions for the assigned site(s). Responsible for carrying out capital projects using the Early Equipment Management (EEM) framework within the GPS Methodology, this position executes engineering design, development of specifications, scope of work definition, project planning and execution, as well as organizing and coordinating resource schedules and budgets, everything with the ultimate objective of achieving Vertical Start-Up (VSU) in most of the assigned capital initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 7 years hands on, Engineering Project Management and execution experience required.
- Working knowledge in site categories (dry mixes, soups/bases, flavor systems, sauces and dressings, as applicable to the site) processes as well as prior experience with building expansions for a food process environment is strongly preferred.
- University degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related fields like Mechatronic Engineering is required.
- Having a background working in a Lean Manufacturing culture / environment is required
- Having TPM - Early Management / Initiative & Innovation Management Pillar leadership background is strongly preferred
