The Finance team in our National Support Center (NSC) is looking for a Vendor Rebate Manager at their Lafayette Hill, PA office.

Are you a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills? Do you have a detailed understanding of the financial accounting principles associated with vendor income management? Are you comfortable with complexity? If so, then we’d like you to join our team as Vendor Rebate Manager.  

 

About the Role: 

    You will: 

  • Play a critical role in our finance team with a primary focus on managing and overseeing the rebate and SPA accounting processes and team.

  • Collaborate closely with the Finance, Accounting, and Data teams to test scenarios, determine strategy, and calculate rebate accruals efficiently and accurately.

  • Manage recruit, hire, develop and train a team of Rebate personnel.

  • Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback.

  • Own the rebate process. Take full ownership of the rebates accounting process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all rebate-related financial activities.

  • Analyze financial scenarios. Work closely with the data team to develop and test various financial scenarios and their impact on rebate calculations.

  • Calculate accruals. Calculate monthly rebate accruals and ensure they are accurately reflected in the financial statements.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with finance, accounting, vendor relations and operations across the enterprise to ensure cohesive financial strategies and clear communication regarding rebates.

  • Prepare financial reports. Prepare detailed reports on rebate activities and outcomes, presenting findings and insights to our profit centers. 

  • Identify areas for opportunity and process improvement. Continuously identify and implement improvements in the rebate management process to increase efficiency and accuracy, as well as identify opportunities to grow vendor income.

  • Audit & ensure compliance. Ensure that all rebate processes comply with relevant laws and accounting standards and support internal and external audits related to rebates.

  • Recover rebates. Identify any missed rebates and work with vendors to recover funds owed. 

  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

 

About You: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5 or more years of experience in financial planning and analysis with experience in managing rebate programs.
  • 1 or more years of leadership experience

  • Be proficient in financial software and Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) is highly desirable.

  • Have experience in managing rebate programs or similar financial incentives where vendor incomes play a significant role in financial strategies.

  • Possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex information, identify patterns, and propose innovative solutions.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with co-workers, vendors and management.

  • Be able to exercise sound judgement and take initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations. 

  • Be self-motivated and fast learner.

  • Possess strong organizational skills.  Be able to organize complex projects, manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
