Overview

As a Team Leader on the 2nd shift at our manufacturing plant, you responsible for leading the production team in such a manner to ensure production requirements, quality and delivery expectations of the customers are met, with a strong emphasis on power lean methodology. This position offers an opportunity to apply your leadership skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires frequent and variable lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedules and shipment dates to coordinate the work activities.
• Maintain required materials for assigned areas with inventory control in mind.
• Assign individuals to specific job tasks
• Keep workers supplied with necessary items to complete work tasks. Record production work on daily production sheets.
• Keep facilitators apprised of issues related to performance, which could result in production delays. 

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
• Ability to frequently and variably lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 pounds

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
