Global Operations Center Operator (GOC) 

Location: Tempe, Arizona 

 

Who We Are Looking For   

The Global Operations Center Operator is crucial in ensuring the physical security, access control, and safety of client facilities worldwide. Operators must be able to effectively comprehend data and compose clear and effective communications that will have a wide audience. The Operator will regularly monitor security camera systems and coordinate with physical security teams to respond to any incidents. Operators employ various systems to support incident management and communication, significantly impacting our global operations.  

 

What You Will Work On  

The Global Operations Center (GOC) Operator, under the guidance of the GOC embedded manager, is responsible for assisting our client with all concerns related to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. 

  • - The individual will work in a GOC environment, monitoring several screens 

  • - The Operator will use a variety of tools that range from JIRA, Genetec, ADT Suite, Everbridge, and other in-house tools 

  • - The Operator is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents that may impact the client's people, products, property, or brand image 

  • - The operator will triage all service and support requests  

  • - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner 

  • - Investigate alarms and respond by sending security patrol or alerting Fire services or Police as needed 

  • - Monitor travel safety and security of the company's employees 

 

What You Will Bring 

  • - Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Either bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience  

  • - Have an interest or direct experience in the following: Security Operations, Critical Incident Management or Corporate Security, Emergency Management - Must be well-versed in current technologies and open-source search methodologies 

  • - Must be a competent user of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite  

  • - Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality  

  • - Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations  

  • - Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations  

  • - Demonstrated organizational and time management skills  

  • - Successful client management experience  

  • - A demonstrated history of effective conflict resolution skills  

  • - Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations  

  • - Ability to attend training events and mandatory meetings that fall outside normal work hours  

  • - Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts both days and nights 

  • - Exceptional oral communication skills and ability to speak with clarity, empathy, and calmness in emergency situations

  • - Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment  

  • - Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling  

  • - Must be flexible with the ability to work evenings, odd hours, and weekends with little notice  

  • - Frequent sitting and/or standing
