Summary Description


The Senior GSOC Analyst directs the activities within the day-to-day operations of the Headquarters Command Center (HQCC) and monitors performance for quality assurance. The Senior GSOC Analyst will serve as the focal point for communications with management and internal and external stakeholders. Using the Incident Command System, the Senior GSOC Analyst serves as the incident commander and directs the HQCC’s response to incidents, until they are resolved or major incidents are handed off to a member of Corporate Security, an Emergency Management Team Incident Commander, or a Regional Incident Commander. The Senior GSOC Analyst reports to the HQCC Project Manager.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities



  • Manages and coordinates all production activities on shift.

  • Oversee intel/threat monitoring to ensure proper identification and escalation of events and incidents that could impact staff, operations, and reputation.

  • Ensure watch personnel is monitoring all systems used to support operational processes effectively and efficiently and according to defined SOPs.

  • Incident Management as needed; Serves as the primary incident commander and manages spontaneous large and small-scale incidents as they occur and affect staff and operations.

  • Supervise non-emergency and emergency telephone line communications

  • Review, edit, and publish reports, alerts, and notifications to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assign, manage, and coordinate service requests.

  • Supervise all electronic records of daily activities and incident response actions executed by HQCC personnel. Oversee deficiency management to ensure proper issuance of service requests and follow-up.

  • Oversee deficiency management of security and fire life safety equipment, systems, and applications to ensure proper issuance of service, follow-up, and implementation of mitigating measures.

  • Oversee testing of hardware, systems, and applications monitored and operated by the HQCC to ensure operational readiness.

  • Oversee coordination and communication with the PSU team.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Education Requirements


A graduate-level degree in management, security/emergency management, criminal justice/criminology, security policy studies, or a related field is required.


Work Experience



  • Must have two (2) + years related experience

  • Demonstrated professional experience in Watch Operations is required.

  • Knowledge of business continuity, emergency management, or incident support required.

  • Superior ability to perform multiple tasks in high-intensity situations. Multi-tasking skills with the ability to produce on deadline

  • Proficiency in a second language is desirable.

  • Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite.
