Role Overview:
Under the direction of the Center Executive Director, the Associate Executive Director will oversee the daily operations of our center, focusing on program development, membership growth, and staff supervision. In addition, you will act as the Wellness and Membership Director, spearheading initiatives to enhance member engagement and wellness programs. You'll drive marketing strategies and provide leadership to ensure our YMCA remains a vital community asset, committed to youth development, social responsibility, and healthy living.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage budgets, meeting financial targets.
• Supervise and support Program Directors, ensuring high-quality program delivery.
• Act as Wellness and Membership Director, leading strategies to boost member participation and wellness initiatives.
• Lead staff development and performance evaluations.
• Articulate and implement the YMCA’s mission and goals, inspiring both internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee program evaluations and initiate new programs in alignment with YMCA objectives.
• Guide the development and execution of strategies for youth and community engagement.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of the Center’s Annual Campaign.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; YMCA Multi-Team/Center Leader certification and YMCA Executive Development Institute preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a professional leadership role.
• Proven skills in fiscal management, program planning, and staff supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
