We are hiring for a knowledgeable Batching Inventory Control Supervisor on our Compounding (Product Batching team).  This individual organizes, directs, and measures all activities performed by the Pre-weigh team, and assists with Compounding and Warehouse operations to ensure the highest levels of safety, service, quality, and productivity are achieved so the company can meet financial and customer related goals.

 

This position is responsible for: 

  • Leads, assigns and manages the activities of the Pre-Weigh team to ensure optimal results in safety, quality, productivity and cost.
  • Trains, coaches and develops employees within the department to ensure performance expectations and department objectives are met according to established standards;  manages performance expectations and delivers feedback.
  • Provides direction, expertise, and timely resolution to material-related issues affecting Compounding, Production, and Inventory Control.
  • Participates and/or conducts investigations, including root cause analysis, related to inventory movement, control, and accuracy. Develops and executes corrective actions as required.
  • Provides input to the strategic direction of the departmental operations and leads the tactical plans and activities to achieve the daily, weekly, and monthly goals as defined by the departmental and company Key Performance Indictors (KPIs).
  • Identifies, leads, and drives continuous improvement opportunities and projects that enhance the quality standards and results set forth by the company and/or customer.
  • Monitors the safety and operational functions of all powered industrial equipment to ensure all procedures and regulatory guidelines are followed. Develops and executes corrective actions as required.
  • Provides the highest level of service to customers ensuring all requests are being fulfilled and objectives met.
  • Audits and reconciles transactions performed by the Pre-weigh Team to ensure inventory accuracy, and processes execution.
  • Monitors raw material capacity and staging to maximize utilization mitigate resource constraints.
  • Directs and performs all work in a manner that is consistent with the company’s quality system and FDA good manufacturing practices (e.g.  maintaining a clean and orderly production area).
  • Follows, promotes, and enforces KDC’s safety and environmental policies, practices, and procedures, including handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Assists with safety investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards and/or incidents.
  • Contributes to the training plan and drives the execution of training to ensure all employees have received adequate training and follow all applicable SOP’s, Work Instructions, and GMP procedures.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent degree is required;  Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the personal care, pharmaceutical or food industry. 
  • Minimum of three years of Supervisory experience.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP functions applicable to Shipping, Receiving, Material movements and reconciliations
