Position Summary:

Customer Service Representatives (CSR) provide service to Aerofil Technology, Inc. internal and external customers by facilitating the communication of information between customers and ATI team members as it relates to the customer’s products which are packaged or are proposed for packaging at ATI; they are the customer’s representative and spokesman on the ATI team.  A CSR is responsible for ensuring customers are provided with the on time service and support they require.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives communication for service requested by customers.
  • Routes customer requests for information or services to the supervisor or manager.
  • Forwards information to customers directly and/or verifies information has been forwarded directly to customers by the appropriate department.
  • Monitors the customer service processes and resolves service issues and/or communicates concerns to the departmental managers and supervisors.
  • Regular attendance per handbook policy.
  • Control inventory dollars of FG and disposition of obsolete FG or components done timely.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • The worker in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
  • The worker constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers, accurately, loudly or quickly.
  • Visual/hearing ability sufficient to quickly analyze and comprehend written and verbal communication on all business documents.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction such as the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
  • Repetitive motion such as substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity with or without assistance such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; extensive reading; and viewing a computer terminal.

  • Know and recognize quality products and practices, and take action when defects are identified.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes respect and teamwork between coworkers, customers, vendors, supervisor and management.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • College degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Have demonstrated success in providing customer service, possess above average aptitude and confidence in the use of spreadsheet and inventory business software.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate with emphasis on word processing, spreadsheet skills and other software/hardware required to perform daily functions.
