We are hiring for an experienced Labor Coordinator who is responsible for assigning employees to production lines based on training and production needs to ensure that lines are adequately staffed to meet customer demands.

What are we looking for? 
 

• High School Diploma, G.E.D or equivalent degree required. 
• Minimum of 3 years previous clerical/administrative experience; previous experience with labor scheduling in a dynamic production environment is strongly preferred.

 This position is responsible for:  

• Partners with Production Scheduler, Technical Training Manager and Production leadership to plan and establish work schedules to meet Production goals;  assigns Production employees to production lines based employee knowledge and experience to support both customer demands and line trials/pilot batches.
• Creates, maintains and updates daily and weekly labor schedule; communicates to production leadership and employees regarding line assignments on a daily basis and makes adjustments as needed (e.g. bulk availability, equipment down time, call-offs, PTO).
• Monitors and tracks employee attendance, including PTO and leave of absence; reviews attendance points and  notifies Production leaders when coaching and corrective action needs to be issued. 
• Determines temporary staffing needs and communicates to staffing agency to ensure proper temporary support is on-hand;  assigns work assignments for Production temporary employees.
