Position Title:  EC Administrator

 

Department: Environmental Commodities

 

Reports to: RFS Manager

 

Compensation: Hourly starting range $18 - $25, Commensurate to Skills and Experience

 

Hours: Full-time: Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Maas Energy Works is the leading developer and operator of agricultural waste-to-energy systems in the United States. The Company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas-powered renewable energy generation systems on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters, biogas-powered electric generation, and renewable natural gas upgrading.

 

Position Description:

Maas Energy Works (MEW) is seeking an EC Administrator to join our Environmental Commodities department. The EC Administrator will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a portfolio of pathways within a variety of renewable fuels programs by managing administrative tasks and providing support to team members.  This includes compiling documents for the initial application, submitting any addendums to the applications, and generating renewable attributes due to the pathway.  This will apply to currently existing pathways, as well as future pathways.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a diverse group of professionals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Compile pertinent monthly data necessary to generate environmental credits including RINs, LCFS Credits, RECs, CCOs etc.
  • Compile and maintain a database of all environmental commodity pricing including D3 RINs, D4 RINs, D5 RINs, D6 RINs, LCFS, CFP, RECs, CCOs etc.
  • Assist with compiling RFS and LCFS pathway applications by assembling documents and responding to verifier requests.
  • Maintain an organized set of application documents for use by Environmental Commodities team
  • Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders to gather information, create relevant schedules, and complete required documentation for pathway applications.
  • Work with Environmental Commodities team to ensure accurate generation of Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs) each month for 50+ entities.
  • Address ad hoc requests that come in from the CEO or other MEW Directors.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Computer Programming, or similar field or equivalent administration experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the renewable energy industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and deadlines
  • Some travel is required
  • Must be proficient in English
