QC Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Lab Technician with previous quality control experience in the food industry. This position consists of testing and sampling all products and ensuring that we are producing a safe, great tasting, quality product that meets our specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate HACCP compliance
• Oversee product sampling and analysis process
• Participate in microbiological control program
• Ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications via product testing
• Calculate adjustments to batches and alter batches to meet specs
• Participate in quality and sanitation programs
• Facilitate regulatory compliance

Job Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Food Science or Life Science preferred but not required
• Previous QC Experience
• Knowledge of GMP's, SSOP's and HAACP (HAACP Certification a plus)
• Experience in a food production facility a plus
