About the Job:

The position of Sr. Cloud Application Developer will have primary responsibility for defining and building software in support of one or more business products. This role also troubleshoots systems and solves problems across platform and application domains. This role collaborates with fellow Cloud Engineers to ensure a seamless migration process. They participate in team standups and retrospectives, and independently troubleshoot and resolve failed GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application changes.


In This Role, You Will:

 

  • Design, build, and manage cloud-based applications and services using Amazon Web Services (AWS) specifically for Large Language Model (LLM) systems.
  • Plan and design the cloud infrastructure with AWS for LLM.
  • Maintain and deploy the LLM cloud applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the LLM cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop new cloud-based LLM solutions.
  • Work closely with enterprise IT, Delivery, and other functional area partners to ensure adequate security solutions are engineered and deployed in LLM cloud environments.
  • Implement new cloud security technologies, architectures, and security products that will support security requirements for the enterprise and its customers, business partners, and vendors in the context of LLM.
  • Manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Keys for LLM systems.
  • Document design decisions and ensuring compliance for LLM systems.
  • Manage security operations in LLM cloud environments.
  • Guide generative AI solutions to generate desired outputs through Prompt Engineering.
  • Refine AI interactions with generative platforms such as ChatGPT.
  • Look for ways of fine-tuning LLM development and interactions while searching for AI errors.
  • Report the AI defects to the AI developers for fixing.
  • Develop and optimize prompts to enhance the output of LLMs for your needs.
  • Direct the model’s behavior and customize its responses to meet your specific objectives.
  • Build AI-powered apps using just prompts, all within the free PartyRock playground.
  • Code and develop software solutions.
  • Build and maintain platforms for LLM development.
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Relevant degree such as Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Software Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Education, Statistics is required.
  • At least 4 years of Information Security work experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a security engineering or architecture role within infrastructure, network, cloud and multiplatform environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience with security issues, techniques and implications across virtualization, Amazon Web Services, and cloud.
  • Experience with LLM systems and applications is required.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Solid understanding of NLP techniques, including word embeddings, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and machine translation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for language and storytelling.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems, adapting to new challenges, and changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to evaluate and optimize prompts.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

Desired:

 

  • Licensing or Certifications in one or more of the following is preferred: AWS, ISO27001/2, CISSP, ITIL, CASP, IPS, IDS, NAC, DLP, TLS.
  • AWS/Azure/Google Cloud security services and tools experience is desired.

 

Location: This is an in-office role based in Charlotte, NC.

Approximately 0% travel is anticipated.
