About the Job:

Odyssey is looking for a highly motivated team player with a passion for systems and data integration. The Integration Engineer II will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying solutions for customer integrations within Odyssey Logistics, focusing on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). This role will support the migration of legacy integrations to the Boomi platform, manage existing integrations, and collaborate with EDI trading partners. Knowledge of Lightwell, B2Bi, and Boomi integration platforms is highly desirable..

 

In This Role, You Will:

  • Utilize various data sources such as DB2, Netezza, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Complex Flat Files, Delimited Files, and XML files for handling feeds.
  • Create solution blueprints and detailed designs that support business needs, ensuring security, scalability, reusability, and ease of maintenance and upgrades.
  • Design high-performance web applications, integrations, and APIs to enhance customer experiences and proactively mitigate any degradation of service in production.
  • Support multiple customer integration solutions throughout the organization.
  • Migrate integrations and EDI from legacy applications/external managed services to the Boomi platform.
  • Collaborate with the Global IT Infrastructure team to maintain the Boomi environment.
  • Assist the Global EDI team with setups and troubleshooting EDI trading partners.
  • Provide support to the Global Helpdesk and Application Support teams in troubleshooting issues with Boomi integrations between corporate and business unit applications.
  • Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

Required:

  • M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience building integrations.
  • Proficiency with EDI, REST APIs, Web Services, FTP, SFTP, SQL.
  • Experience working with, manipulating, and mapping XML, JSON, CSV, flat files, etc.
  • 1-2 years' experience with Boomi, Lightwell and/or B2Bi.
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation systems is a plus.
  • High-level analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to project manage and experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

This is a hybrid in-office role in Gdańsk, Poland
