About the Job:
We are seeking a talented and motivated full-stack Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer responsible for developing our Transportation Management System, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the success of our TMS platform.
In This Role, You Will:
- Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using Java and JavaScript web frameworks.
- Full Stack Development: Work on both the front-end (Angular/React/jQuery) and back-end (Java) components of applications to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Database Management: Develop and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance. Debug and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and best practices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and technologies used in development.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation such as design documents, API documentation, and user guides.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in software development with expertise in Java and JavaScript web frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with distributed version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Location:
This is a hybrid in-office role in Gdańsk, Poland
