Here is your opportunity to join the area's premier fine dining team as a member of our professional front-of-house leadership as Bar Manager. Primary responsibilities include overseeing all bar operations, ensuring a high standard of service, and maintaining and well-stocked, clean, and organized bar. This role requires strong leadership skills and etiquette,  a passion for mixology, and the ability to enhance the dining experience with inspired drink pairings amidst a warm and welcoming vibe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bar Operations: Oversee day-to-day bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring the bar is fully stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and adhere to all safety and hygiene standards.
  • Customer Service: Interact with guests to provide a memorable experience, recommend drink pairings, and address any concerns or special requests.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and culinary team to develop and update the beverage menu, focusing on seasonal and signature cocktails that complement the steakhouse's menu.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations, and maintain proper documentation and records.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and control bar-related costs, including labor, inventory, and waste, to achieve financial targets.
  • Event Support: Assist with private events and special occasions, coordinating bar services and customizing drink offerings as needed.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and conducting regular inspections of bar equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and mixology.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is preferred.
