PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

•    Perform general cleaning duties in public areas (e.g., wipe stairwells, windows, doors, etc., as well as general dusting)

•    Stock rooms and room attendant carts with supplies

•    Wash windows in all areas, inside and out

•    Clean glasses

•    Vacuum hallways and maintain vacuum equipment

•    Bring dirty linen to the Housekeeping department, help launder and fold

•    Take out garbage in each room, assist housekeepers in rooms as needed

•    Put away orders when product is received

•    Attend to room calls

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks, such as lifting and bending.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry heavy objects, such as furniture and supplies.
• Bend, stoop, and reach to clean low-lying areas and pick up debris.
• Push and pull with force when moving equipment or carts.
• Perform repetitive movements, such as vacuuming and mopping.
• Climb stairs or ladders as needed to access elevated areas.
• Demonstrate good manual dexterity for tasks like making beds and folding linens.
