Position Title: Field Development, Medical Training Specialist

Location: Remote + 75% travel 

Compensation: 75K -80K base plus benefits

Need someone with a multi-state compact license (LPN or LVN)

What You'll Do

The Medical Specialist, Field Development is a key contributor to the success of center openings by providing onsite support for Physician Substitutes. This specialist holds the responsibility of conducting final competency evaluations for Physician Substitutes and obtaining approval from the Center Medical Director. The primary objective is to ensure the medical team meets the highest standards of competency and aligns with medical regulations and guidelines.

  • Implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Coordinate Physician Substitute certification with Center Medical/Laboratory Director and/or Corporate Medical.
  • Responsible for the training, development and coaching of all Physician Substitutes for new and fixed mobile sites.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations using approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to make improvements to the Physician Substitute training program.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, SME, for Physician Substitute training and development of additional training materials.
  • Support the implementation of new programs and other company initiatives.
  • In collaboration with the project management office (PMO), serve as subject matter experts (SME) in projects and company initiatives.
  • Work closely with program managers to integrate training with program rollout plans.
  • Monitor program performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization

Who You Are

  • Strong teaching abilities and mentoring skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to keep others in remote locations on track to achieve results.
  • Proficient in ClickUp or similar project management platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Keen sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Strong ability to build solid relationships in teams, with peers and management.
  • Strong ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; critical thinker.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or meets the listed experience requirements.
  • Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or equivalent experience required.

  • Must have current CPR certification.

  • One (1)+ years’ of plasma center management experience preferred.

  • One (1)+ years’ of employee training and development experience required

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the principal job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Overnight travel is required approximately 75% of the time.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to periodically lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must possess auditory and visual acuity.
  • Ability to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed.
  • At times, includes working in extreme temperatures (i.e. -40°) while wearing proper cold environment outerwear.
