Position Title: Field Development, Medical Manager

Location: Remote + 75 % Travel

Compensation: 85K base

Direct Hire

Purpose:

The purpose of the Field Development Medical Manager is to play a crucial role in driving growth and the successful implementation of new programs within the organization. The Field Development Manager is responsible for overseeing various key aspects, including new site development, training initiatives, program implementation, leadership development, and providing essential support to ensure the overall success of field operations. This position reports to the Senior Field Development Manager

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the training of Physician Substitutes at fixed and mobile sites, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all centers meet operational standards and compliance requirements.
  • Provide post-open support and training as needed.
  • Ensure that all employees involved in the new site development process are trained on operational procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain certification and licensing requirements for the role of Physician Substiture.
  • Ensure assigned centers are set up according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and the New Center Standardization Guide; and ensure all documentation is in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Follow all Safety and OSHA policies and procedures. Ensures the center and all employees comply with OSHA regulations and training. Complete all OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of new programs and other company initiatives.
  • In collaboration with the project management office (PMO), serve as subject matter experts (SME) in projects and company initiatives.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of new programs into the business.
  • Work closely with program managers to integrate training with program rollout plans.
  • Monitor program performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality Assurance, and Learning & Development teams to support center leadership teams.
  • Work towards KPI improvements, focusing on processing times, yield, compliance, and SOP adherence.
  • Facilitate staff development initiatives, including audit preparation and efforts to enhance member experience.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to address specific challenges or opportunities within the field.
  • Provide support to center leadership teams addressing challenges and ensuring operational success.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to offer support in various areas, including CLT, production, shipment, and training.
  • Ensure cross-training of all members in production areas, management, and quality assurance. Complete and ensure competency in the required training program.
  • Lead and direct a Field Development team that includes multiple Medical Field Development Specialists.
  • Provides oversight of employee relations issues for direct reports; to include recruitment, training, development, counseling, and termination.
  • Create a culture of continual improvement that aligns with Join Parachute’s values.
  • Partner with Director of Field Development to continuously improve the department processes, and related SOPs.
  • Provide daily onsite set-up updates to Director of Field Development, Leadership and Executive Team.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee a successful New Site Development to Field Operations/Center Leadership hand-off.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or meets the experience requirements below.
  • Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or equivalent experience required.
  • Must have current CPR certification.
  • 3+ years of plasma center management experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of employee training and development experience required.
  • 3+ years of project management preferred.
