Position Title: Manager, Regulatory Affairs

Location: Austin, TX (Potentially remote plus some travel for the right fit) 

Compensation: 100K - 110K base

Full Time – Direct Hire

Purpose: 

The Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible developing and maintaining the Company’s regulatory filings and submissions, as well as assisting with the overall Quality Management System.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform regulatory submissions and filings.
  • Ensure work organizational processes conform with standard operating procedures / regulatory 
    requirements.
  • Actively scans regulatory landscape to ensure alignment and identify laws and regulations that 
    impact the company's policies.
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Regulatory Affairs, author and maintain all Donor 
    Center Registrations, BLA applications and licensure documentation and ongoing regulatory 
    submissions.
  • Leads in the creation of reports and documentation needed for regulators.
  • Assist with implementation of the Company’s Quality Management System.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve complex problem and maintain strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to provide strong supervisory and leadership skills to the organization.
  • Knowledge of all Source Plasma regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the source plasma 
    industry.
  • Knowledge of the legal aspects of a Donor Center.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of industry-related experience

Every good business idea starts with solving a problem. In our case there are two important ones: first, there’s an urgent need for plasma donations and second, people need ways to earn a little extra.

Parachute is a new kind of plasma donation company that allows individuals to earn money while creating life-saving medicine.

Plasma is used to create medicine that treats chronic illnesses, including immune disorders, liver disease, bleeding disorders, and cancer. Right now, there’s a severe plasma shortage, which is impacting patients’ access to these life-saving treatments.
