Job Title: Float Pool Medical Assistant

Location: Outpatient Physician Offices, Charleston, SC

Summary: Join our Float Pool as a Medical Assistant, where you will provide direct nursing care in a dynamic outpatient setting. You will work under the guidance of our physicians, assist medical providers, and ensure a clean and safe environment that aligns with our practice's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assessing patient needs and developing health plans.
  • Complete all necessary documentation in the patient’s medical record per charting policies.
  • Prepare equipment and support physicians during medical treatments, exams, and procedures.
  • Coordinate specialized consultations and appointments for tests as ordered by physicians.

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED with completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of one year of experience in a physician office.

Certification:

  • Required: Medical Assistant Certification and CPR certification.
