Hilton Head Hospital Hilton Head Hospital (HHH) is a 93-bed acute care hospital located at 25 Hospital Center Boulevard in Hilton Head Island, SC. HHH serves Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Okatie and surrounding counties through its care team of over 600 colleagues and over 100 physicians. The hospital provides a continuum of services through its centers and programs, including a 24-hour emergency department, critical care, cardiac care ranging from minimally invasive to open heart surgery, obstetrics/ gynecology, urology, a nationally accredited breast health center, spine care, gastroenterology, surgical services, cardiac and physical rehabilitation.

ONCALL-Certified Surgical Tech OR Full Time Nights Position Summary

To provide safe and effective surgical care, through the performance of specific duties, as the surgical assistant during surgical and other invasive procedures under the direction of the surgeon. Performs routine first assistant duties as well as specifically delegated duties according to The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting standards and established policies and procedures of the department of surgery. Assist in the maintenance of a safe environment for all. Keeps current with operating room techniques, procedures, instruments, supplies and equipment.

ONCALL-Certified Surgical Tech OR Full Time Nights Position Requirements:

Education:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred

2. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.

Experience:

1. One or more years experience as a Certified Surgical Assistant preferred.

Other Qualifications:

1. Maintains current certification as Certified Surgical Assistant.

2. Maintains current BLS certification.

Hours: F-M 4:00p-7:00a

Now offering $500 Housing allowance or temporary housing up to 6 months subject to availability.
