Position Summary
Assists the pharmacist in the preparation and delivery of medications to hospitalized patients in such a manner that will provide the optimum quantity and quality of care. To assist the pharmacist with non- professional duties to ensure that the Pharmacy Department will be in full compliance with all state, federal, DHEC, and Board of Pharmacy laws, rules and regulations.
Education/Other Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must have completed pharmacy technician training or have Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Must be able to use computer, unit dose packaging machine and hyper alimentation base compounding machine.
- Must possess the ability to work with sustained attention, concentration and carefulness on routine and repetitious tasks and assignments.
