Job Title: Treasury Analyst - Remote/Virtual

Job Summary:
As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial activities of the company, ensuring optimal cash flow, minimizing financial risk, and maximizing returns on investments. You will be responsible for monitoring cash positions, executing cash management transactions, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

We are seeking remote/virtual applicants located in the Pacific Northwest or Alaska.

Duties/Responsibilities:
1.  Cash Management
•    Monitor daily cash balances and forecast short-term cash requirements.
•    Execute cash management activities such as wire transfers, deposits, and withdrawals.
•    Optimize cash utilization across various accounts to maximize returns.
2.  Financial Analysis
•    Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving cash flow efficiency.
•    Conduct variance analysis on actual vs. forecasted cash flows and identify areas for improvement.
•    Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
3.  Risk Management
•    Identify and assess financial risks, including liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and foreign exchange risk.
•    Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
•    Monitor market conditions and economic indicators to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
4.  Investment Management
•    Assist in the management of the company's investment portfolio.
•    Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend appropriate investment strategies.
•    Monitor investment performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
5. Bank Relationship Management
•    Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
•    Negotiate terms and conditions for banking services and credit facilities.
•    Stay informed about banking industry trends and developments.

Required Skills/Abilities: 
•    Experience with financial management systems, such as: Treasury Management software, Accounting ERP systems, banking portals and forecasting/reporting tools. 
•    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Strong financial and mathematic abilities.
•    Strong time management and organizational abilities.
•    Attention to detail.
•    Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Treasury Management Data Analysis, Bloomberg).
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Education and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a similar field. (Master's degree or CTP designation may be preferred).
•    Previous experience in treasury management, cash management, or financial analysis.
•    Knowledge of treasury management systems and banking platforms.
•    Preferred: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
