Job Title:  Data Product Manager IIl 

Job Summary:
Sr. Business/Systems Analyst (Data Product Manager IIl) will act as the primary contact between client management and area leads/managers, and development teams (including GUI, Mid-Tier, QA, and Project Management personnel). 

Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Work with users and managers to determine functional requirements and will transform them into technical requirements/agile artifacts required by the development team.
•    Gain a clear understanding of the business needs and detailed client processes/workflows per the user and document the needs as user stories/ functional requirements.
•    Facilitate data mapping workshops and data profiling sessions.
•    Create technical and user documentation, as needed.
•    Communicate with team leaders and project management as well as the user community to ensure needs are understood and met.
•    Assist development teams and project management teams to develop realistic time lines for client needs and work with client users to facilitate key, timely communication to mitigate change impacts and scope creep.
•    Assist with internal projects in coordinating efforts and information to support RFP/RFQ development, as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities: 
•    Candidates must be skilled at facilitating workshops and requirements sessions.
•    Must have a complete understanding of the software development life cycle.
•    Proven experience within an Agile/SCRUM environment
•    The position requires at least (7) years of working directly with programming and database teams on enterprise-level projects.
•    Critical thinking, big picture thinking, yet able to get detailed when necessary
•    On-site, large meeting facilitation experience required
•    Great communication skills, great writing skills 
•    Ability to describe business requirements / business needs in great detail
•    Proven experience translating business needs into technical requirements for development teams
•    Technical Writing experience is a plus.
•    Prior experience in Project Management also considered a plus, but emphasis is on business-systems analysis/requirements, processes and workflows.

Education and Experience:
•    The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
•    REQUIRED: 2-5 years of Business Analyst experience within financial/pensions/benefits
•    Prior experience in services-based consulting environments and working with state, federal, and commercial clientele highly preferred.
