Where do you fit in? 

The Strategic Alliance Director focuses on partnering and growing the global enterprise portfolio, contributing to the company's sales growth objectives. This senior level sales professional will be managing complex sales activity for our high-value accounts, collaborating within a matrix structure to deliver successfully.

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Engage, build and maintain strong customer relationships with senior executives and strategic leaders in the assigned client organization.
  • Gain intimate knowledge of the customer and their unique challenges and goals. Use this knowledge to aid Solution Specialists in having access to opportunities that could benefit from the Signant solution offering and increase market share.
  • Provide Signant Health with shared vision at the Executive level within the assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate, Consolidate and Communicate Business Level Strategy by Account Assigned to support Solution Specialists in order to meet and exceed sales targets in line with the customer strategy. Accounts will be dynamic and flexible depending on need at any given time.
  • Lead efforts to repair Accounts that have gone on hold or no longer are working with Signant Health due to any number of issues.
  • Builds relationships with potential strategic partners, develops, and communicates plans for mutually beneficial business opportunities, and motivates potential partners to engage in strategic partnerships.
  • Function as a Liaison and Commercial Point of escalation to ensure clients are getting maximum value from Contracted services.  This would include conducting regular business and service reviews with clients and internal teams as required in collaboration with the CDD.
  • Collaborate with Solution Specialists colleagues across the organization to ensure they are aligned to the agreed account strategy.
  • Understand and communicate to the business, know and developing obstacles (Escalations) and opportunities (pain points) for your customers.
  • Understand and validate Client Pipeline. Generate a strong grasp of your customers business path forward (IE: Study planning, financial support, clinical development pathway, etc.)
  • Take part in customer governance activities.

 

You’ll need to bring

  • Demonstrated success in strategic business development, related to eClinical technology and experience selling complex services to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Understanding of the clinical research enterprise segment.
  • Excellent leadership, and ability to collaborate in global remote matrix teams.
  • Ability to plan and manage portfolio sales strategy, sales funnel and pipeline to accurately forecast sales achievement.
  • Proven success in the leadership of proposals and bid defence processes and meetings.
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to present client proposals confidently.
