JOB SUMMARY
The Production Planner 2 will provide support to the Ripon Production Planning team in supplying daily bottling schedules. This position will order raw materials from our suppliers on a regular basis as well as in response to ad-hoc data requests. This individual will play an integral role in ensuring that all Ripon bottling needs are met as well as maintaining lean supply inventory levels on-site. The Production Planner 2 will maintain material tracking spreadsheets and will be cross trained to backup other essential functions within the Planning department. This role is eligible for hybrid work, with travel into the Ripon office as needed, in person meetings, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee and analyze inventory levels to ensure materials are available for production needs.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, aligning with customer demands and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage material procurement, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to resolve any issues impacting material availability or schedule adherence.
- Prepare regular reports on material usage, inventory status, and production performance metrics for management review.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Maintain daily incoming delivery log for raw materials.
- Maintain weekly trailer log capturing material inventories and projected run-out dates.
- Compare and adjust planned material deliveries against fluctuating bottling needs.
- Cross-train to backup other Planning functions as needed.

- Generate various efficiency and productivity reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Three or more years of experience within supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and/or finance.
- Analytical abilities with reliance on data to drive decisions and the ability to conceptualize solutions.
- Advanced PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Ability to be a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to juggle multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal.
- Must be self-motivated, articulate, empowered, and creative.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of or ability to be trained in TWG software programs. J.D. Edwards/ERP experience preferred.
- CPG and/or wine industry experience preferred.

COMPENSATION
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $66,560 - $98,600
- Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position related factors.
