Position Overview:

Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for the healthcare industry?

As a Regional Sales Manager at AtriCure, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing direct business sales in cardiac operating and related departments within hospitals. You will have the opportunity to train and support surgeons and their staff in various procedures, provide O.R. support, and ensure exceptional follow-up patient care. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for your territory to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Identify new customers, build strong relationships, and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Account Growth: Increase penetration and adoption within existing accounts to expand our base business.
  • Collaborative Success: Work closely with the Area Director and Product Development team to implement strategies that achieve corporate sales goals.
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends and share valuable insights with our marketing team.
  • Event Participation: Represent AtriCure at industry trade shows and events to network and generate leads.
  • Territory Management: Efficiently manage your territory and track customer activity to ensure optimal performance.
  • Hospital Access: Navigate and fulfill the requirements for obtaining access to hospitals and healthcare systems.
  • O.R. Expertise: Provide hands-on support and training in the O.R. environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Sales Experience: Proven success in sales, particularly with cardiac surgical ablation systems.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong clinical and technical knowledge.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solver: Quick thinking and effective troubleshooting skills.
  • Driven and Goal-Oriented: A confident, self-motivated team player who thrives on achieving goals.
  • Travel Ready: Ability to travel up to 80%, depending on territory size and location.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch & English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrophysiology Market: Experience selling or managing sales teams in the Electrophysiology market is a plus.
