Summary: Provides Marketing support to communicate the Griffith Foods Brand across North America to enable awareness, positioning, and engagement, with internal and external audiences, about our Purpose, our Aspirations, our Products, and our People.

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

This position is designed to offer the intern the opportunity to perform a variety of entry level professional marketing activities, including research, analysis, and project design in support of the North America Marketing team. The duties and responsibilities of the Intern will include the following projects/responsibilities but are not limited to:

 

Internal

• Market research – generate visual register of products in the North America market

• Alsip renovation communications campaign - Support with updates to associates on progress including the creation of videos such as coffee chats, animated infographics and presentations to share updates on renovation.  
• North America SharePoint creation- Assist with the creation of internal NA site and content updates and maintenance.
• Employee regional and local town halls - Support with recap pre meeting video reels that include associate images, updates and recognition.
• Product launch Announcements - Support marketing team with communication content for new innovations and new product announcements
• Intern program project – create campaign to promote the Griffith intern program including the development of videos, social media content, and additional internal communication pieces.

 

External

• Griffith Foods Social Media content- Support and assist social media content creation including and not limited to assistance with content calendar, infographics, video reels, and images featuring associates and company culture
• Custom Culinary online website - Assist with updating and maintaining website

• Griffith.com online website - Assist with updating and maintaining website including leadership bios, newsroom, Food and Flavor outlook sections.
• Food and Flavor outlook - Support with editing online marketing materials including editing copy and design elements.

 

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing Communications, Advertising or Strategic Marketing role.
• Demonstrated experience with all types of social media (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
• Strong, versatile copywriting skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web content management systems experience.

• Possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong and proven organization and communications skills. 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and adobe Illustrator, and other graphic design software.
• Experience in video content creation and editing.

• Photography skills for capturing content.
