JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:  Manufacturing Engineer-Intern                                  

FLSA STATUS:  Non Exempt

SUMMARY

This is technical work supporting the development and design of new manufacturing standards along with the documentation of existing standards. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Under general supervision will perform the following tasks:

• Develop and document Manufacturing Standards
• Participate in manufacturing improvement activities
• Assist department staff with various projects through design and or physical construction
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Enrollment in an Engineering degree program.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position typically does not require any travel.
