Food Technologist

The purpose of the role 

As a Food Technologist you will manage the customer relationship with Griffith Foods to create partnerships with relevant customer stakeholders. You will exchange relevant information with internal stakeholders to support innovative customer solutions, including:  

• Supporting the R&D team in both administrative and hands-on application tasks, such as applying Griffith Foods ingredients to snacks, meat and plant-based products in our culinary kitchen for key customers' demos. 

• Management of project pipelines in CRM: inputting, tracking feedback, and closing off R&D projects to ensure smooth progression and successful outcomes. 

• Providing support for R&D activities, managing sampling processes, supplier communications, and CRM data input.   

• Direct management of a few well-selected medium-sized accounts/customers. 

• Preparation of presentations and innovative workshops for customers in cooperation with the R&D and commercial teams   

• Internal evaluation of newly developed products with the R&D and commercial teams to gather customer feedback. 

• Prepare and adjust forecasts for key customers. 

• Collaborating with the internal teams in the resolution of supply or quality issues.  

• Ensuring proper management and organisation of R&D samples and stock.  

• Contributing to the daily activities in the Polish office and Culinary Centre. 

• Actively promote and adhere to the organisation's health and safety standards, rules, and regulations. 

  Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology/Science or relevant food industry experience 

• Good analytical, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills 

• Ability to work independently in an international environment.  

• Fluent in English and Polish 

• Proficiency in PC Usage & MS Office Requirements 

• Since there is frequent contact with food products, it is essential not to have any food or contact allergies  

• Passion for food innovation or culinary expertise is a definite plus.
