As a key member of our Sales Development team, you will work closely with Marketing and our Business Development and Sales teams to identify and create new qualified sales opportunities. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
- Identify & Develop Opportunities: Proactively prospect, identify, and nurture new business relationships in your assigned territory/market. You'll initiate contact, develop leads, and build a robust pipeline to generate new business.
- Manage Inbound Leads: Qualify and manage inbound warm leads generated by Marketing, turning them into sales-ready opportunities.
- Outbound Engagement: Conduct timely outbound calls and engage in other forms of communication (e.g., email, social media) to prospect for new opportunities and qualify leads.
- Build Relationships: Communicate effectively to cultivate interest in Signant Health's products and services, educate potential clients, and build strong relationships.
- Navigate the Sales Process: Identify key decision-makers, assess buying readiness, handle objections, and apply strategic sales techniques to align customer needs with our solutions.
- Meet & Exceed Goals: Achieve metrics, targets, and quotas consistently. You thrive on competition and are motivated by achieving results.
- CRM Mastery: Capture and manage all relevant information and data in our CRM system, ensuring a meticulous and strategic approach to lead management.
- Industry Engagement: Attend industry trade shows and conferences to represent Signant Health and expand your professional network.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in lead generation or inside sales is essential. Experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO sectors is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM systems.
- Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Self-Starter: An enthusiastic, reliable, and independent self-starter with a strong work ethic, integrity, and a drive to succeed.
- Adaptable: Ability to multi-task, shift priorities as needed, and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
