SaaS Project Manager- Remote within the US

Job Summary/Objective

Supports process improvement and standardization initiatives, as well as delivers merger and acquisition integration projects that help accomplish the Company’s strategic objectives. Focuses on IMO activities and acts as a trusted advisor who provides structure, schedule, and accountability to highly visible company objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)

  1. Manages project scope, resources, risks, issues, budget, and timelines for global projects across the enterprise.
  2. Leads cross-functional initiatives to create best practices, including monitoring. Gains alignment across the organization and builds out and executes the communication and implementation plan.
  3. Builds rapport with and among all project stakeholders and instills confidence in the ability to add value and meet program and project objectives.
  4. Communicates effectively with customers and other stakeholders and actively seeks alignment with expectations on all aspects of project execution.
  5. Manages and escalates issues as required including continuously identifying dependencies and project risks, identifying and managing key risks and developing mitigation plans, resolving cross-team issues in a timely manner, and facilitating decision-making and managing conflict within the teams.
  6. Manages multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging project management best practices.
  7. Confirms and actively manages the scope needed to deliver solutions including creation of change requests as needed.
  8. Identifies and problem-solves for potential dependencies and complexities that may arise.
  9. Acts as a strategic liaison, change champion and communicator with all project stakeholders.
  10. Updates senior stakeholders and senior executives on progress and key metrics.
  11. Supports additional activities of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) as required.

 

Education

 

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Business Management, Information Technology, Operations Management, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the role's key responsibilities will be considered.

 

Experience, Skills and Key Competencies

At least 5 years prior experience in Project Management in a SaaS environment is required, with proven success in leading teams and complex, cross-functional global projects, and a strong understanding and expertise in driving integration activities within a functional team.

 

Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organizational, facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to make formal presentations to senior management.
  • Strong leadership skills, and can motivate and lead internal resources to work together to resolve complex project problems.
  • Ability to independently shepherd complex interactions and situations.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage through ambiguity and complexity, and support multiple, simultaneous projects, multiple stakeholders and articulate the dependencies and interrelationships.

 

Special Position Requirements

  • Occasional travel is expected for this position.
  • Able to fluctuate work hours as necessary to engage with different time zones globally.
